Former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has revealed that the current security problems in the state would not have been there if the current Governor, Hope Uzodinma adopted the right approach at the initial stages.
The Federal law maker who appeared in Sunday politics on Channels Television recalled how he was able to handled the situation better during his reign.
According to him, a sitting Governor ought not raise shoulders while piloting the affair of the state. He stated that negotiations is the best tools in solving the problem of insecurity.
He revealed that when his was in charge, a certain group were agitating because they felt marginalized. He stated that he had to seat when them first and hear from them. He said he did not make use of forces to intimidate.
According to him, Hope Uzodimma has failed in that aspect and that is why there are existence of unknown gunmen all over. He said the Governor should have swallow his pride and seek advice from him which he would have gladly offered.
